The Havannah is set on one of the best beaches of Efate, with crystal clear waters overlooking Havannah Harbour, and the islands of Lelepa and Moso.   Located on the North West Coast of Efate Island, and just a 30 minute drive from Port Vila, The Havannah is perfect as a secluded retreat yet close enough to the sights Efate has to offer, including Cascade Waterfalls, bush walks, dive sites and Port Vila. Your stay at the Havannah includes complimentary transfers to Port Vila twice daily.  We can organise your airport transfers by car, however for something extra special please ask us about arrival by helicopter with a scenic tour along the coastline of Efate.

Getting Here and Away

Flights operate out of Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Fiji, New Caledonia and the Soloman Islands. A little known fact is that Vanuatu is so close to our neighbours, so you can be here within a few short hours... only 2 hours from Brisbane, 3 from Sydney or Auckland, or a short 1.5 hour hop from Fiji or Noumea.  Please see below for information on airlines and airport transfers.

Airport Transfers

Please be sure to inform reservations of your flight details (flight numbers and arrival and departure times) prior to arrival so we can book your airport transfers for you.  Under Vanuatu law, only transport/tour operators and taxis can provide airport transfers - and hotels and resorts are not allowed to provide this service for their guests.

We work in conjunction with Adventures in Paradise and are happy to book  transfers for you using their service.  Transfers are AUD $25 per person one way - so $100 return for a couple.

Taxis can be found at the airport, and they have a fixed rate of 8,000vt one way (approx AUD $100)  from the airport to The Havannah.

You may also organise a hire car for your stay, however we find that most people are happy to hire a car for just 2-3 days during their stay so they can explore the island... and are otherwise quite content to relax at the resort.  Hire car prices vary from around 8,000vt a day (AUD $100) up to 17,000vt per day (AUD $210).

Please note that even if you choose to hire a car or take a taxi, we do need your flight details so we can liaise with the airport in case of flight disruptions, and we have an idea of your ETA.  Many flights come in late at night, and if we are not advised of your ETA in advance, we may not have late night reception staff to greet you and show you to your villa.

"We stayed for 5 nights but wish we stayed for more. The room was gorgeous, it over looked the ocean and the islands. It also had a pool 5 steps from our doorstep."
